Project Management

Project management sits at the forefront and underpins most of what we do at Dawn. Each Commission is treated as a separate project whether it is a small scheme of limited scope or a multi-million pound highly complex development. We can provide:

  • Project management of all types of building and construction
  • Coordination of programmes implemented by others
  • Client's representation in all aspects of construction and building projects, where the client may not be principle to the process itself
  • Business change management
  • Project rescue and recovery
  • Post project reviews and evaluation
  • Obtain statutory consents
  • Undertake design and specification duties
  • Initiate and manage appointment of contractor
  • Carry out feasibility studies
  • Issue contractual certificates
  • Identify and manage the making good of defects
  • Post project review and evaluation
  • Assess contractual claims

From site selection, appraisal and assessment we can undertake viability analysis and feasibility surveys and investigations. Liaison with funding institutions, landlords and other agents we can act as Coordinators of all legal and contractual arrangements and processes.

We can move through the whole project lifecycle tackling Team selection and consultant appointments terms and conditions and undertake performance monitoring thereafter to understand, improve, instigate checks and balances and drive projects forward.

We will report on and chair meetings, setting up lines of communications and reporting methodologies. Customers turn to Dawn to deliver their capital investment programmes on time, to budget and with quality exceeding stakeholder expectations.

We offer expertise in programme management across a broad spectrum of projects around the UK – from commercial development to Central Governmental Department business re-engineering exercises. Our services range from high-level programme management and business planning for major multi-nationals to small-scale projects for individual customers.

We also establish cost plans and cash flows, incorporating all relevant costs. Actual costs, variations and projected costs are monitored and constantly updated to ensure the vital aspect of management information – out-turn cost – is readily available and understood by the customer and all key players.
